If you guys like her so much when she’s mad, wait til you see her when she’s being cute!

And no, you can’t have her!  She’s mine!  I saved her from a lady who got her as a puppy.  A BORDER COLLIE (mix) puppy.  Then the lady got mad when the puppy got too hyper and knocked over ter two-year-old.  They didn’t let her in or anything either.  She lived outside and didn’t have any toys.

She’s been with us for a little more than a year now and she never once was visibly mopey about leaving her old family.  Since she came to love with us she’s been attached to my hip as much as Peach is attached to Jerome’s.  =)

Today We Rescued A Hummingbird

Earlier today when we went to let the girls out, we found a hummingbird in our outdoor skylight-type-thing.  So we ushered the dogs back in, and herome stood on one of the chairs and stuck the hook end of his cane up in the skylight thing.  Eventually the hummingbird landed on the cane and allowed himself to be carefully carried over to the non-covered area of the yard where he happily flew away.

Scared Dog Gets A Hug

I want to do this for as many dogs as I can.  I hope to open a dog rescue farm someday.  For now, we have three rescues and probably one on the way and that’s all we have room for. =(
